Goals next semester
Upcoming semester I want to use the skills and knowledge I have gain from the assignment creative electronics in practice. Within my new project I want to be more actively involved in the prototyping process.
To be more involved in the prototyping and ideation phase I want to develop myself more within the competency form and senses. Therefore I want to take the assignment basic form giving skills. This will also help me to shape my ideas and thoughts on design better.
Throughout the project I discovered my interest for user involvement of design. This is why I want to focus more on user focus and perspective this semester and explore my interest. Therefore I am hoping to get assigned to the project 'Smart teams on a smart pitch,' which makes sport and team players more interactive with each other. I also would like to do real user tests within my new project, we tried to do this within the Smart Moves project, but did not completely succeed. Because of the feedback we got at the demo day, the user tests could have been a good step within the project. By testing it better we could have had a more solid design and concept. Feedback from users is a good way to improve and prove your thoughts about a design.
Since I did do the HTML-workshop, I am planning on using it to program my B1.2 showcase myself. This will require to practice the programming more in the time remaining between now and my next showcase, but I think this will be possible.
